A devotional reminder that things are going to get worse before they get better. We will find our stay on this planet to be less and less appealing, which will help us to focus on God and Heaven more readily -- just as it was for the children of Israel before they were delivered from Egypt.
Exodus 3:7 KJV
And the LORD said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;”
